At the direction of Heyday CEO Darin Hager, the project will be spearheaded by Heyday Brand Ambassadors Born I Music (aka Born Infinite, a Washington DC-based hip hop/electronica artist) and Jules Renae (Model and Director of PR & Marketing for Heyday Footwear and Head of Promotions for New England Hip Hop.com).

The primary goal of The Heyday Mixtape is to create a soundtrack that captures Heyday’s “street-meets-sleek” philosophy. Not only does Born I Music represent this philosophy, but all artists who wear and or represent Heyday (i.e. Twista, Elzhi, IAMEDIC, Jay Sean, Coolbeans, Flo Rida and Tony Yayo to name a few), are reflections of the company’s cross-genre ethic.
