I had the pleasure of joining The Cornel West Theory (who just got a co-sign from Erykah Badu on their new vid!), along with Jati & DJ Underdog at their most recent video shoot this weekend. Another beautifully shot joint, this time featuring a cameo by your’s truly is coming to y’all soon.

After the shoot, I received some troubling news… it seems that my crew has been getting the Mike Tyson Treatment as of late:

Since I gotta keep it chill, no point in going on… but I will say that I’m DISGUSTED and DISAPPOINTED in some of you so-called “DMV personalities”. I would’ve expected better from you. But it just goes to show who runs this town after all… SMH you n*ggas kill me. Smarten up, cuz I can only be silent but for so long. This is our livelihood – the more you steal from the plates we make, the easier it will be to expose y’all without a second thought.

Last night’s studio session was OFF THE HOOK! I went in over Drake’s “Over” instrumental and a classic beat from the late 90s that I’m keeping secret for now! The Born Identity Mixtape, when its all said and done will be a game-changer for sure. Just feelin thankful and real blessed right now to have the team that I do.

So much to think about – so much to get ready for!…. Spring has been good to me. Actually this whole year has been good to me. I started this journey as a soloist just over a year ago and already I have so much material its insane… I’m sittin on a single y’all that is gonna change the game, I just know it. Its like knowing you have money in the bank… its a real good feeling. We’re just finalizing the paperwork on that and we launch! I shot the video back in december – when it’s all ready to roll, you’re gonna be happy I made you wait. Summertime baby!


First up to bat is “THE BORN IDENTITY MIXTAPE” – I’m in the studio tonight kncoking out my last three tracks for that. I’ll be goin in over the new Drake beat and more, so stay tuned. I’m gonna explain the concept behind “THE BORN IDENTITY MIXTAPE” real soon so y’all know where my head is @ with that. When this mixtape is done its gonna be classic material to say the least – NOBODY DOES IT BETTER!
